About the Artist

Zhang Wen Xin, born in 1928, is a native of Tianjin. He was an artist at the Beijing Fine Art Academy.

Zhang Wen Xin is a Master Signature Member of the Oil Painters of America (OPA) and a member of the China Fine Artist Association. He has been a member of OPA since 1993 and has been the recipient of cash awards for excellence every year from 1994 through 2000.

He graduated from the Department of the North China University in 1949. He also studied physics at the Beijing University.
